Prefabricated Bathroom Cells  

A basic idea of prefabrication is to transfer workload from the site to the factory and in this way to reduce the construction time. One of the most time consuming jobs on site is to finish the installation and the interior of a bathroom. Furthermore, these works are more demanding concerning the quality. So it is consequent to prefabricate the complete bathroom in the factory.

Under constant conditions, concrete bathroom cells are produced. In a separate area, they are finished by tiling and installing of all sanitary equipment and furniture.

For transport, the cell is locked with a provisional door to protect the interior. The final door is fixed when all dust-creating works in the building are finished.

The concept of prefab bathrooms is especially useful if the same type of bathroom has to be built for many times. Typical objects are office buildings, hotels, hospitals and so on.
